Estimates

How do I get an estimate? You take the first step and contact us through telephone or email.

We will call you to you to acknowledge your request and obtain some information.  We do not provide estimates over the telephone and do need to visit the property.  Estimate visits occur on Saturday or Sunday.  During the week we receive numerous requests for estimates, and at the end of the week the requests are used to create a routing schedule.  The route and schedule depend on the requests received and any carry-overs from the previous week.  For this reason we are unable to provide any guarantee of a particular time or day for a visit.  On Friday you will receive a call to inform you of the day and time of the visit and confirm your availability.  If we do not receive confirmation or for some other reason are unable to connect, you will be scheduled for the next weekend’s estimate visits unless we hear otherwise.

What information do you need from me so I may get an estimate?  Full name, telephone number, property address (number, street, city, zip), email, and a brief description of why you are calling us or what services you are requesting.

Our Approach

We are continually refining our processes to provide quality and high levels of Customer satisfaction.
Our current Estimate Process is fairly straightforward and simple.

  1. Customers telephone us or send email to request an estimate.  Occasionally they walk-in.
  2. The prospective Customer is contacted to acknowledge the request.  We obtain some information in order to visit the property location and to understand the request.
  3. On Friday, Customers are contacted and informed of the time and day of the visit and to confirm their availability.
  4. If the Customer does not confirm their availability or we are unable to connect, they will be scheduled for the next weekend’s estimate visits unless we hear otherwise.
  5. After the visit, we provide a Proposal via email, and follow up to confirm receipt and to answer any questions.  The Proposal describes the scope of work agreed upon and the estimated charges.
  6. We need an email acceptance of the Proposal by the Customer in order to proceed.

Our current Project or Job Process is also straightforward and simple.

  1. Once the Proposal has been accepted a project start date is scheduled.  Prior to the start date we coordinate and communicate with the Customer as necessary.
  2. We will call JULIE if the project requires it.
  3. Prior to the project start we walk through the Proposal with the Customer to confirm mutual understanding and agreement upon the deliverable.
  4. Once confirmed, the work is performed.  The Customer does not need to be present in order for the work to be performed but needs to be available by phone in case any unexpected situations arise.
  5. During the project, we visit the site as needed, to ensure the delivery is proceeding as planned.
  6. After the work is completed an invoice is submitted to the Customer via email for payment.
